Mr. & Mrs.
I made these mixed media canvases for my friend Gail. I used several wooden embellishments that I painted with gesso and stamped images onto. The metal embellishments are jewelry charms and pendents.
Togetherness
This is a mixed media canvas I made my husband for our anniversary, it's us spending our summer days doing what we like; fishing and camping.

By the Sea Collection Tray
By the Sea paper from Graphic 45. This is a collection tray that I covered and decorated with ocean and sea stickers and metal pieces, lots of sea shells and netting.
Handmade Paper Violin
I made this violin out of chipboard, glue and The Paper Studios Josephine's Miscellany paper pad. I have built this structure using a dimensional technique that uses paper. The violin has a lot of real features such as: F holes, Tail Piece, Chin Rest, and Bridge. While it may not place sweet music, it is a beautiful decoration for the music enthusiast.
Adorable Smiles
These are two mixed media canvas of my husband and I at Yosemite (my first time) it is so beautiful and amazing. I took the same design concept but used two different color pallet. For both I used Tim Holtz Wallflower and My Minds Eye paper. However, I got the different looks just based on the different color of ink sprays I used.
The "smile" and "adore" are wood that I covered with embossing powder and heat set. I also used Tim Holtz Distress Ink that I put in mini mister and sprayed onto the canvas.

Lord Keep Me in Tune

I secretly got a copy of the prayer and decided to paint it onto my very first violin and give it to him as a gift. It brought tears to his eyes, the sentiment of the violin and the importance of the prayer.
